From the Hindu Kush to Morocco
Topper’s work covers a wide range of forms and styles: drawings, watercolours, oil paintings, woodcuts and reliefs, depicting landscapes or people in the Hindu Kush, Spain, Morocco… or the Kreuzberg neighbourhood of Berlin. But more often than not his pictures are full of surrealistic figures nobody else could have painted.
